When I stumbled upon incidents from Naru’s childhood, I realised that his experiences are very cinematic due to a strong visual and emotional nature of his life. It can appeal to anyone who is sensitive and sensible. While most people remain unaware of their purpose despite going through a whole lifespan, Naru is an exception. He doesn’t know his purpose, but he is attempting to find it. This story covers the beginning and end of this self-realisation.
Many citizens of India live a life of challenges. Everyone is on a quest to come out of their problems, whereas Naru’s quest is to find purpose in helping others. When a ten-year-old brings positive change for others, why can’t we do it? Some of us resolve to take care of charity only after they get enough bank balance. Truth is, those who want to live for others, live in them all the time. It doesn’t need money, but good deeds. I saw the same intent and vision in Naru.
I wish that when my film ends, everyone ponders about “Who am I living for.”If this thought is carried forward, I will consider myself successful as a filmmaker.
